COVID-19 Polices to Keep You Safe at The Pilates Method
In keeping with the classical Pilates tradition of one-on-one private instruction and semi-private, small-group instruction, we’re already accustomed to small groups of clients. This enables our studio to comply with all social distancing protocols.
Breathing is the first act of life and the last. Our very life depends on it.
Our Policies and Safety Protocols
The state of Michigan no longer requires masks for those vaccinated. Feel free to wear a mask for whatever reason. We are taking your word and appreciate your honesty that you are vaccinated. To be safe, protect our team & our clients kindly wear a mask or let us know to distance ourselves.
Entering the Studio
We ask that you leave personal belongings in your car, except your keys and shoes. Please silence your phone and if you must answer a call, we kindly ask that you step outside the studio. Socks are required. Take shoes off and slip on your studio socks. We ask that you not wear your outside shoes or boots around the studio. Our studio is an open floor, while waiting for your session or afterwards please use a quiet voice while lessons are in session.
We have a hand sanitizing station inside the studio and hand sanitizer at every piece of Pilates apparatus. As part of our regular cleaning process, each client cleans their equipment. Instructors will assist in cleaning as well as cleaning the studio and high-touch areas.
Scheduling a Session
To schedule a session, you can book directly on our website. During business hours you may still call or text us and.we can help you schedule your session. Use the Mindbody app to schedule when the studio is closed.
We have professional-grade air purifiers by Molekule that are capable of destroying SARS-CoV-2 in the air.
24-hour Cancellation Policy
To avoid late charges, we kindly require a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows our instructors to schedule another client that may be on a waiting list due to COVID-19 physical distancing space restrictions.
Virtual sessions are perfect to keep up with your practice. Working from home, no sitter, while away or out of town. If you think you may have been exposed to Covid yet have no symptoms you can join a virtual session while still taking care of yourself.
