Meet the Team

Cheryl has been teaching Pilates since the late ’90s. Her first comprehensive certification was in the Stott method. As a lifelong learner of Pilates, she began her first Classical certification under the mentorship of Sonjé Mayo through Peak Pilates and then trained in Seattle WA through Dorothee VandeWalle at Metropolitan Pilates. She opened the PILATES METHOD in 2016 and continues her personal Pilates growth through advanced training, workshops, and lessons. instructors. She is passionate about sharing the Classical Authentic Method of Pilates through her Mentorship and Teacher Training Program. The true and authentic classical method of Pilates makes real changes in your body, “I want all teachers and clients to experience how the Pilates Method can change your mind and body.

Rachel attended Michigan State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2009, she began personal training and was first introduced to Pilates. She started her training through STOTT and PEAK in 2012 and is currently pursuing her comprehensive classical certification through Power Pilates New York. Rachel is a former figure skater and now enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and inline skating with her dog Moose.

Gianna majored in physical education/therapy (2006) and certified as physical therapist in 2010. While working as an orthopedic physical therapist her lumbar disc ruptured and I rehabilitated through pilates. Wanting to live a healthy lifestyle and help others, she obtained an international rehabilitation pilates license in Korea (2016), PMA-NCTP (2020), and finished full STOTT rehabilitation course (2020). Gianna is now pursuing her comprehensive Classical Certification through Power Pilates New York.

Olga is a classical Pilates Instructor, she completed her Comprehensive Pilates training at Power Pilates in NYC. Before relocating to Michigan, Olga had been teaching in the NYC area where she also continued her training by attending workshops and learning from the top instructors in the industry. Originally from Russia, Olga has been passionate about fitness and movement throughout her life and has background playing competitive tennis. After a career in accounting Olga left the corporate world to pursue her passion for wellness and fitness. She credits Pilates with transforming her own body, honing her strength, flexibility and stamina.

Diana is a retired national-ranked competitive gymnast. Born and raised in Romania. A Competitive travel gymnastics coach for the past 17 years she also has a background in dance. Her goal is to inspire and motivate her clients to include movement and exercise in their daily lives. Diana is trained through Power Pilates NYC.
